		                Job Overview:
We are looking for a results-oriented and proactive Business Development Manager to lead and expand our medical device business across local and international markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in sales, distributor/channel management, and healthcare industry knowledge—especially within the medical device sector.
This role is responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities, managing distributor relationships, and achieving revenue targets through strategic sales execution. The role also involves frequent collaboration with internal stakeholders such as regulatory, supply chain, and clinical support teams to ensure customer success and market growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Sales Development & Execution
•Drive sales activities to meet or exceed targets in assigned markets.
•Identify, evaluate, and engage potential customers including hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centers, and long-term care facilities.
•Build strong customer relationships with healthcare professionals, hospital procurement teams, and KOLs.
•Develop territory-specific account plans and execute pipeline management with a focus on long-term customer partnerships.
2.Distributor & Channel Management
•Recruit, develop, and manage distributors and channel partners in assigned territories.
•Provide sales training, product education, and technical support to distributors to drive performance.
•Monitor and evaluate distributor sales activities, track KPIs, and manage performance improvement plans if necessary.
•Support contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and ensure alignment with company policies and local market dynamics.
3.Customer Engagement & Post-Sales Support
•Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing timely responses to inquiries, issue resolution, and post-sales follow-up.
•Collect and communicate customer feedback to internal teams to help improve products and services.
•Collaborate with internal regulatory and technical teams to support tender submissions, registration, and reimbursement processes in Japan and other countries.
4.Market Intelligence & Reporting
•Gather and report market intelligence, competitive activity, and customer insights in the assigned regions.
•Provide regular updates to management on sales performance, forecast accuracy, and business challenges.
•Attend industry events and conferences to strengthen the company’s presence and identify potential business opportunities.
