1、Design, develop, customize for commercial PC platforms, including BIOS/UEFI firmware.
Support firmware development across NPI and sustaining projects, including platform bring-up, feature implementation, issue triage, bug fixing, and production support
2、Develop and maintain BIOS/UEFI features, EFI drivers, platform initialization code, system management features, and firmware update flows
3、Analyze system architecture and platform requirements to determine firmware coding, integration, and testing needs
4、Collaborate with hardware, OS, driver, QA, and product teams to ensure seamless hardware-software integration
5、Work closely with ODM partners and external development teams to drive technical issue resolution and ensure timely project delivery
6、Debug complex firmware, hardware, and system-level issues using BIOS debug tools, and other debugging methods
7、Author and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, debug reports, release notes, and firmware operation materials

Education and Experience:
·Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
·3+ years of experience in BIOS/UEFI system software development
·Strong programming experience in firmware/software development
·Experience with BIOS/UEFI architecture
·Strong debugging and problem-solving skills for firmware, hardware, and system-level issues
·Experience with hardware-software integration and low-level system design
·Familiarity with Git, GitHub, Linux, Python scripting, and firmware development toolchains
·Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across internal teams, ODMs, vendors, and product organizations
·Results-oriented mindset with strong learning agility
·Customer-centric approach to product quality, reliability, and user experience
Preferred Skills and Technologies:
·Experience with Scrum, Agile, or SAFe methodology
·Familiarity with Robot Framework or other automation test frameworks
·Experience with ThreadX, FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or other RTOS platforms
·Experience with Intel or AMD x86 platform firmware development
·Knowledge of BIOS communication, ACPI, power management, Modern Standby, battery charging, and platform security
·Experience with secure boot, TPM, firmware update mechanisms, manageability features, or enterprise PC requirements
·Experience working with ODM partners such as Inventec, Quanta, Wistron, Compal, or similar manufacturers
·Strong analytical thinking and ability to solve moderately complex to complex technical challenges
·Digital fluency and willingness to adopt modern development practices, including CI/CD and automation
